IKEA has launched mini beds for smartphones. The accessory tracks how long the device sleeps without distraction. If the smartphone spends seven hours a day in bed for a week, the owner will receive a pleasant bonus.
IKEA has introduced a series of mini beds for smartphones called the Phone Sleep Collection.
The accessory isn't just decorative—the bed has an embedded NFC chip that, via an app, tracks how long the phone sleeps and isn't in use. If the device remains idle for seven hours each night, the owner will receive a 100 dirham coupon.
The crib is free in Dubai with purchases over $200. The campaign aims to combat poor sleep due to constant phone use.
