In China, there's a real "Fat Cat Island"—a shelter and park for stray furry creatures, home to about 150 cats. This feline paradise is located in Jiangsu Province: the grounds are filled with cat statues, cafes, and shops. All the animals are sterilized and under constant veterinary care. A ticket to the island costs ¥85, with proceeds going toward the upkeep of the whiskered residents.
