Some animals look like they belong in horror movies, but they're actually no threat. They're just life forms that didn't quite work out. And some, on the contrary, are very cute and beautiful. But they bite, and it's straight to the bin.
Phryn
At first glance, it's a mutant spider with two pincers. But in reality, the phryn is completely harmless. It doesn't bite, it's venomous, and it doesn't spin webs. But it's a master of scaring. :)
African Honey Bee
It looks like a simple bee, but it's actually a monster. While ordinary bees fly about their business and ignore people who don't bother the hive, African honey bees attack without hesitation – if they see someone approaching, they charge forward.
Tigerfish
If for some reason you decide to dip your feet in the Congo and dangle them while sitting on the dock, it's quite possible that in a couple of minutes there won't be anything left to talk about. Tigerfish even feed on small crocodiles, let alone humans...
Japanese Hornet
A palm-sized flying torpedo. One bite is enough to kill it. So better run, and fast. It's a good thing it's only found in Japan.
Python
Just the other day I read that a python swallowed another careless farmer in Indonesia. Pythons don't specifically hunt people, only if they're very hungry.
Amazon Centipede
It's huge, about 30 cm long, fast, and terrifying just by looking at it. In reality, its venom isn't lethal to humans—it's unpleasant, but no more dangerous than a severe burn.
Black Mamba
The black mamba has a pitch-black mouth... It's because of this that this snake got its name. The black mamba has become a legend among snakes for the lethality of its venom.
Brazilian Wandering Spider
Huge and scary, especially when it's moving toward you, and also one of the most venomous spiders on the planet. But ironically, its deadly venom is used in laboratories around the world to study the nervous system and discover new drugs.
Bearfish
It looks like a lump of dark mucus with horns. When frightened, it releases a cloud of purple ink to quickly escape before anything can be seen. But that's all. Scary, but harmless.
Blue-Ringed Octopus
Here, the man is flirting with death. Or maybe he just doesn't know there's no antidote for a blue-ringed octopus bite. But how could such a little thing do anything bad? He's so cute...
Alien
Finally, this alien. Beady eyes, a shell, and it looks like it just hatched in an astronaut's belly. It's actually a giant isopod. It crawls along the ocean floor and eats everything that falls from above. And what's interesting is that if nothing falls from above, it can go five years without eating!
I wish I had that ability. I'd save up for an apartment.
