An American built a boat that rows itself

Dave Niwinski decided that even river cruises should be automated for a true techie, so he ordered a pair of robotic arms from the Chinese company Agilex Robotics, then attached oars to them and rewrote the software, configuring it for rowing.

For now, he's using a gamepad for the controls, but is considering adding an autopilot in the future.
