A tame crow amazes everyone with its human voice
A resident of Scotland named Amy became the heroine of discussions on the Internet after she posted a video with her unusual pet, a tame raven named Fable.
According to her, the raven used to repeat many more words and sounds, but over time it became lazier and now chooses only its favorite expressions.
"Since my last video, I noticed that many of you did not know that ravens can talk, so I decided to show a few phrases that Fable has learned over the past seven years," the owner shared.
In the comments under the video, users wrote that they were surprised by the bird's behavior. Some called Fable "a real miracle" and even "a supernatural creature."
"Yes, it makes you wonder how many voices in the forests actually belong not to people, but to ravens," "If my bird spoke in my voice, I would just die of shock," they wrote.
Experts from the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) remind us that crows are among the smartest representatives of the animal world. They are able not only to remember faces and solve problems, but also to reproduce sounds, including human speech. However, ornithologists emphasize that despite their intelligence and loyalty, crows remain wild birds, and keeping them at home is extremely difficult. They need space to fly, constant mental stimulation and social interaction.
