Travelers accidentally flew to Tunisia instead of Nice
The girls were planning a vacation in France, but accidentally ended up on a plane flying to North Africa. The airline employee heard “Tunis” instead of “to Nice” and booked the wrong flight.
Two tourists planning a vacation in France accidentally flew to North Africa due to the airline’s fault.
Britney Dzialo and her friend, who were planning to get to Nice from Rome, found themselves on board a plane heading to Tunisia. In the published footage, the girls are laughing, asking the flight attendant if they were going to Nice. “To Tunisia, yes,” the woman answered, misunderstanding them.
After that, the travelers showed online maps and found out that the confusion was due to an error by the airline. “The airline employee heard us wrong and booked the wrong flight,” Dzialo said.
The crew members persuaded the Europeans to stay in their seats so that they could then be redirected to the right country. After landing at the North African airport, the tourists spoke with airline staff and boarded a flight to Nice.
