A 57-year-old passenger managed to fly from New York to Paris as a stowaway (3 photos + 1 video)
A small international scandal occurred last Friday on board a Delta Airlines plane during landing in Paris. It turned out that there was a stowaway on the overcrowded flight. 
Even in the middle of the flight, the flight attendants noticed a woman who was moving from one toilet to another (there were 4 on the plane) during the 7-hour transatlantic flight. Suspicion was also aroused by the fact that at one point all the other passengers were in their seats and there were no empty seats at all.
After landing at Charles de Gaulle Airport, the pilot instructed everyone to remain seated because French police were about to board the plane to resolve a "serious security issue." Although a company spokesman later said the woman posed no threat.
The woman was detained and it turned out that not only did she not have a ticket for the flight, but she had easily bypassed several security checkpoints at Kennedy Airport. According to the Transportation Security Administration, the stowaway slipped past passport control and TSA boarding passes on one of the busiest days of the year and successfully passed the checkpoint without causing an alarm.
The wily lady applied for asylum after landing in France, but was denied. Instead, she was sent back to the U.S. with a one-way ticket to face a slew of law enforcement charges for her fraud, sources said.
According to CNN, she applied for asylum in France several years ago, but sources told The Post that her asylum claim was denied again this week.
Multiple investigations are currently underway to determine how the passenger managed to avoid not only TSA screening, but also Delta boarding control at the airline's terminal.
