An American created a fake fire station and started a real fire truck in it (2 photos)
In the US, police arrested 46-year-old Steve Farzam. He is charged with 28 criminal counts. His crimes include creating a fake fire department, using fake documents and a fire truck, ABC7 reports. 
Steve Farzam from California "registered" the Santa Muerte ("Holy Death") fire department. It had a credible website and a working phone number. However, in reality, the address listed is a shopping center.
During a search, they found a real fire truck. However, it was long decommissioned, manufactured in 1986. According to investigators, he used it and forged documents to enter wildfire zones. For what purpose is unknown.
This is just one of Farzam's violations. Among other things, he pointed a laser into the eyes of airplane and helicopter pilots, stored unregistered weapons, and posed as an employee of various government agencies. The accused is currently in custody. For all of his crimes, he faces up to 23 years and 10 months in prison.
