One of the largest solar power plants is located in Turkey in the world

According to media reports, it is located in the only Turkish desert, Karapinar, and provides electricity to about 600,000 homes. There are 3.5 million solar panels installed on an area of 20 km2 (approximately 2,600 football fields). The station's control center is designed as a huge shiny square with polished steel walls and is surrounded by a mini-oasis.
