In Australia, unusual competitions are held every year. These races resemble Formula 1, only instead of an engine, it is the power of the legs.

The cars accelerate to 70 km/h, and the race lasts 24 hours. These are the largest races in the world for such equipment.

The idea of holding such races arose in Australia back in 1996, since then fans of pedal cars from all over the world come to this large-scale event every year. The competition is held in several stages, and each team must demonstrate not only physical endurance, but also strategic thinking.

The races are divided into several classes, including women's and youth teams. The races last from six to 24 hours, with a periodic change of pilots, which is reminiscent of the famous "24 Hours of Le Mans". This allows the participants to rest and recover in order to continue the fight. The length of the racing track is 5 kilometers and 303 meters. The racers complete 58 laps, which in total is 306 kilometers and 124 meters.

More than 250 teams participate in the competition, which makes it one of the largest in the world. The teams consist of several pilots who take turns replacing each other on the track. This requires not only physical training, but also teamwork.
