She Said She Loved Me: A Briton Thought He Was Texting Jennifer Aniston for Five Months (3 photos)
The deception was revealed in the most tragic way.
43-year-old resident of English Southampton, unemployed and a big fan of the TV series "Friends" Paul Davis became a victim of a fraudulent scheme in which the swindler pretended to be American actress Jennifer Aniston.

According to the Briton, Aniston wrote to him first. At first, he did not believe that the famous actress wanted to communicate with him, but Jennifer was convincing. She sent him a photo with her driver's license - and the man believed that a miracle had happened to him.
The communication was not limited to messages and photos - Davis also received videos in which the actress confessed her love to him, complained about being tired of fame and the desire to be with an ordinary person, not a celebrity.
At some point, the interlocutor said that she urgently needed £200 to pay for Apple subscriptions. The Briton, who was head over heels in love, did not dare to refuse the actress and transferred the required amount. "Aniston" asked not to spread the word online that she had asked him for money, and after she received the required bribe, she blocked Davis on social networks. Only then did the man realize that he had become a victim of fraudsters, and the videos with the alleged actress were edited using deepfake technology.
The deceived Briton admitted that his mental health had seriously suffered after this deception. And now he wants as many people as possible to know about this story and to be careful on social media: even if Jennifer Aniston wrote to you, don’t delude yourself.
