It turns out that it's not only humans who can form strong friendships. Dogs sometimes demonstrate selfless friendship and a desire to be together despite difficulties.
An animal rescuer in Southern California received a call about two abandoned dogs
A woman arrived at the scene and saw a large pit bull and a tiny Yorkie mix. The tailed ones pressed themselves against each other
Suzette Hall first told this story on her social media page. The story of this woman and her mission deserve special attention. Having lost her son to a rare heart disease, Suzette decided to continue their joint work to help homeless animals. In memory of her son, she founded the charity "Logan 29 Legacy" and perpetuated his desire to do good.
And then, one fine day, Suzette received information about two abandoned dogs and went to the place. She found two pets huddled together for warmth. A rare combination, a large pit bull and a small Yorkie mix, looking at the woman with both fear and hope.
Hall tried to put the dogs in two separate cages, but the pit bull did not want to part with his friend
Suzette decided to lure the Yorkie, but not only was he not scared, but, on the contrary, he rushed to her with joy. And then something even more amazing happened. Having put the small dog in the cage, the woman was about to return to the pit bull, but at that moment she discovered that he was already poking his nose at the glass, trying to get a look at his friend.
The woman compared the dogs to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito. More precisely, to the characters from the movie "Thelma and Louise." Perhaps she then came up with new names for them, because both dogs turned out to be girls.
Suzette tried to put a collar on Thelma, but she wouldn't let go. Then the woman simply opened the car door, and the pit bull jumped in and settled down next to Louise. Soon, both dogs fell asleep peacefully and happily.
The Logan Legacy 29 team provided first aid to the dogs and fed them. Louise needed a grooming session, and Thelma was noticed to have a skin rash. The four-legged ones were taken to a veterinary clinic for treatment. Now they are looking for a new home.
We can only hope that their future will be happy, and they will be able to spend their life together.
