Russians fighting for Ukraine captured an African mercenary in the Zaporizhia direction
Fighters of the "Freedom of Russia" legion, who are fighting on the side of Ukraine, captured a 29-year-old Nigerian, whom the Russian authorities, threatening him with a prison term for drug trafficking, sent to war.
This case is reported in a publication on the page of the social project "I Want to Live", initiated by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War together with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
According to the prisoner, he lived in Russia for 4 years, where he earned a living by selling drugs. "When he was caught, of course, instead of a term under Article 228, he was offered to go to the "SVO", - the report says.
It is noted that the price of a "clean slate" in his biography could be his life. The Nigerian managed to fight for five months before surrendering in the Zaporizhzhya direction.
