The Ukrainian Armed Forces captured a Chinese man who fought on the side of the Russian Federation near Toretsk
The Ukrainian Defense Forces captured another Chinese citizen who signed a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry and went to war against Ukraine. He was captured in the Toretsk direction.
As reported by Censor.NET, this was reported in the project of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War "I Want to Live".
The project published a video of the interrogation of the captured Chinese.
As noted, Chinese citizen Wang Wu (call sign "Sabre"), born on August 25, 2000, fought in the 102nd regiment of the 150th division of the Russian army.
"He, like most Russian mercenaries, was promised work in the rear, but, after training, along with other defendants, they were immediately thrown to the front line near Toretsk," the project said.
"I Want to Live" noted that Van Wu allegedly regrets signing a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry and dreams of returning home, where his family is waiting for him.
"I really understand that we were deceived... I think that signing this contract is a shameful choice... I am sure that it is important for other Chinese to know that they are being deceived," he said during interrogation.
In the video, the captured Chinese says that he first flew to Moscow by plane, and then to Ufa, where he spent more than a month at the military registration and enlistment office, waiting for the results of a medical examination. Then they were sent to Rostov, where training began.
After that, according to him, they were taken to Ukraine, where they trained for another week, and then sent "straight to the front lines."
Van Wu also claims that he did not want to end up at the front. He said that he wanted "to work in the logistics department to earn some money for his parents."
"They kept beating us and pushing us forward. I didn't understand what was happening. The commanders kept pushing us forward. We didn't have any supplies. I almost died of thirst. I had no water or food for days. In the end, I surrendered to the Ukrainian army," the prisoner of war says in the video.
Wang Wu is not the first Chinese to be captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In April, Ukrainian defenders captured two Chinese citizens who fought on the side of the Russian army, Wang Guangjun and Zhang Renbo, in the Donetsk region. Source: https://censor.net/ru/v3560326
