A plastic box with a large amount of cash was left near the elevator (4 photos)

A resident of a condominium in Nonthaburi, Thailand, returned home from work in the evening and saw an abandoned plastic box by the elevator.





The box was in good condition, and the lady decided to appropriate it for her own needs - especially since the find was essentially lying in the waste disposal area.

Imagine the woman's amazement when she opened the box and saw bundles of cash inside. There were so many bills that the woman could not even estimate the approximate amount and, a little scared, called the police.



The police confirmed that the abandoned box contained 12 million baht (that is, $367,000). There was also a stack of men's clothing and some official papers, but these documents, unfortunately, did not shed light on the history of the money. It was only possible to contact the bank whose logo was on the money wrappers, and they said that this amount was withdrawn in 2020.





The bills were sent to the police station for safekeeping, and the authorities will have to deal with the unusual case and try to find those who left the wealth unattended.
