Humanoid robots entered the boxing ring in China

The machines were specially designed for boxing matches, they are able to withstand powerful blows, fall and rise, and perform complex elements such as rotations in the air.
“In a fight, the machines are under enormous pressure, and there are many uncertainties. It is extremely difficult for us to ensure the smooth operation of the robots, while maintaining their stability in such difficult conditions,” the developer said.
Preparation for the tournament took several months: engineers created special movement databases, optimized algorithms and carried out a series of upgrades.
