A curious little fox cub found himself in a difficult situation after getting his head stuck in a car wheel.
The injured animal was spotted by a resident of Wolverhampton (West Midlands, England).
Royal Animal Rescue worker Charlotte Holder attempted to free the fox, but eventually had to call the fire service for help. The woman noted that the poor little fox was very scared.
Luckily, West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service were able to rescue the animal. It is now receiving the care it needs at a wildlife hospital and will be released back into the wild when it is ready.
Charlotte added that she was very grateful to the firefighters who took the time and effort to take care of the tiny fox. Without outside help, there was no way he could have gotten free.
