The National Meteorological Center (NMC) of China on Sunday again issued an "orange" warning due to strong gusts of wind.
Bad weather is raging in China. In the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (AR), Shanxi and Hebei provinces, as well as in Beijing, strong winds with gusts of up to 11 meters per second are observed. In some areas of the country located near the Bohai, Yellow and East China Seas, forecasters predicted powerful storms of up to 13 points (from 37 to 41.4 meters per second), and it seems they were right. Chinese social networks are overflowing with videos of what happened over the weekend in different parts of the country.
China has a four-level weather warning system. The highest level of danger is considered red, followed in descending order by orange, yellow and blue. Last Sunday, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) of the PRC again announced an "orange" warning for strong gusts of wind and "blue" levels of danger due to sand and snow storms.
In the PRC, residents with low weight (up to 50 kilograms) were asked to stay home over the weekend due to strong winds. Classes were also canceled in city schools for primary and secondary students, and some public spaces, including museums, were closed. Residents were asked not to pass by billboards, unreliable structures, large trees, temporary structures to avoid accidents.
It is interesting that the "orange" warning in Beijing was announced for the first time in the last 10 years.
In regions where natural disasters are already behind us, videos of destruction are being shared.
The greatest amount of destruction was recorded in Hebei Province.
