В Йосеміті є знамените гори Ель Капітан з вертикальною скелею. Перший раз на неї піднімались 47 днів, ночуючи таким чином. Другий підйом зайняв 7 днів, з такими ж ночівками. А нещодавно скелелаз Алекс Хоннолд піднявся менше ніж за 4 години взагалі без страховки...
