A manga about a world where people keep fighting machines as pets in their homes, in addition to cats and dogs, is coming out in Japan. 
It turns out that there is a manga called "The Art of Raising a Tank" (Sensha no Kaikata) about a world where people keep not only cats and dogs as pets, but also tanks. Moreover, some tanks grow to the size of a full-fledged fighting machine. 
According to the plot, this is a touching story about a man who needs to take care of a cute M4 Sherman tank. There are already 7 chapters out.
