Veterinarians saved a dog who ate 24 socks, three hair ties, a shoe insole and more (3 photos + 1 video)
The pet is recovering after numerous procedures. 
The owners became concerned when they noticed the dog had a "hard, swollen belly." Luna also began vomiting. After this, the animal's owners sought veterinary help. "What we found was staggering," the doctors said.
Luna underwent extensive surgery: she underwent a gastrotomy to clean out her stomach and an enterotomy to remove the objects that were causing the intestinal obstruction. 
The dog is currently recovering after numerous procedures. "Against all odds, Luna pulled through and is now wagging her tail again!" the Animal Emergency Center wrote in a post.
