Volunteers saved a mother dog and her babies. But they missed something...

When Eldad Agar received a call on his phone that a female pit bull had given birth to five puppies and needed help, he and his team rushed to save the animal. The dog, which whelped in someone else's yard, was in a deplorable state.

Volunteers immediately gave her a nickname - Lexus. They calmed the dog down while they collected her newborn puppies around the yard. Unfortunately, only four of the five children survived when the rescue team arrived. Volunteers also gave them nicknames: Beemer, Mercedes, Prius and Cooper.

Next, the rescuers took the mother and children to the veterinary hospital, where they were cleaned of fleas and all the necessary procedures were performed. But the female pit bull looked at the volunteers with such eyes that they realized that they had overlooked something.

After X-raying the animal, the doctors saw that the dog had a tin cap for sweet water in its belly. The doctors did not want to undergo surgery, so they used the necessary drugs to induce vomiting in the animal.

Thanks to this procedure, the dog lost the foreign object that it had swallowed. Now all five four-legged animals are safe and feeling great.
