This is probably the most reckless defense minister in the world. 
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is not only the defense minister, he is also the crown prince of Dubai. So, he is madly in love with extreme sports. So jumping from the Burj Khalifa skyscraper is quite in his spirit. 
For this event, a platform was equipped 6 meters above the 139th floor. And together with the prince, 15 more athletes from different countries jumped. In total, over two days, the athletes made 437 jumps.
By the way, this is not just a random fun, but a real festival, and it has been held since 2014.
