The plane, flying from Minneapolis (USA), flipped over onto its roof during landing at Toronto International Airport (Canada). The incident occurred last Monday at about 14:45 (22:45 Moscow time). ABC News notes that the crash could have occurred due to strong winds, the gusts of which reached 65 km/h, and at altitude it was even greater. The moment of the emergency was captured on video.
The plane caught fire upon impact with the ground. Fortunately, there were no fatalities in the crash, and passengers were quickly evacuated from the cabin.
At the same time, firefighters continued to extinguish the fire on board.
According to the latest data, 18 people were injured and taken to Toronto hospitals. According to the country's authorities, there are no fatalities thanks to the coordinated actions and professionalism of the pilots and ground services.

Communication between the control tower and the pilot during the landing approach was normal, and what went wrong when the plane landed is still unknown. A special commission will investigate the causes of the crash.
