In the cartoon "Flow", all the characters in the film were voiced by real animals, but only the capybara spoke with the voice of a baby camel.

The director of "Flow" showed an excerpt from the cartoon with the sounds of a capybara. Gints Zilbalodis posted a video comparing the realistic version and the final one, where the role of the capybara was taken by a baby camel. After that, it became clear why the film crew made such a choice.

While working on the cartoon, the team went to the zoo to record the sounds of real animals. Director Gints Zilbalodis even personally squeezed the capybara, but in the end, it did not cope with the task.

The thing is that in "Flow" this character is calm, relaxed and peaceful. The real capybara from the zoo made very alarming and high-pitched sounds. In the end, it was replaced with a baby camel, which perfectly matched the mood of the character from the cartoon.
