We start the morning with news from overseas.
The incident with a light aircraft occurred on January 2 in the city of Fullerton, California.
The US Federal Aviation Administration reported that a single-engine four-seat Van's RV-10 crashed.
Just 2 minutes after takeoff from a local airfield, the plane epically rammed a nearby huge furniture manufacturing building, where at least 200 people were working at the time.
CCTV footage from the Rucci Forged wheel factory across the street shows the plane lurching to the side as it crashed into the building, causing an explosion and black smoke.
The collision caused a fire in the building. The pilot and passenger died before rescuers arrived. Eighteen warehouse employees were injured to varying degrees.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. After takeoff, the pilot told air traffic control he was going to turn around and make an emergency landing, but it is unclear what the problem was with the plane.
