New photos from the surface of Mars from the Perseverance robot (6 photos)
When creating the rover, the experts say that its goal is to reveal the history of the planet and determine whether life existed there. For 4 years, the rover studied the bottom of the Jezero crater, where it landed. Over the past 3 months, it has climbed to its top and taken fresh photos. In the coming months, the rover will travel another 6 km to take new rock samples that will help understand the nature of Mars.
