Dogs scared off a bear that attacked a man
In India, two dogs saved a man from a bear. The street animals scared the bear.
The incident occurred on Thursday, November 21, in Kanker district, Chhattisgarh state. A man standing with a mobile phone near a building was caught on video captured by surveillance cameras. A moment later, a bear came out from behind the Indian man and immediately rushed at him. The man noticed the animal at the last moment, when it was about two meters away from him.
The bear tried to bite the man, but at that moment two street dogs appeared on the road next to the building. The predator got scared and rushed to the roadway, and the dogs ran after him.
A large population of bears lives in the forests of Kanker district. The animals often wander into the outskirts of the city in search of food. Residents have repeatedly appealed to the authorities with a request to solve this problem.
