The bear tried to get into the house through the dog door (3 photos + 1 video)

A hungry bear tried to crawl into a woman's Washington home through her dog door, according to video of the attempted break-in. But it seems that the size is not his!





North Bend resident Amy Hold discovered a large bear on her back porch sniffing out food. This happened around 10 pm and the woman immediately decided to film the furry visitor on a CCTV camera.

“This video is very funny, but it also makes me a little worried that I'm going to wake up in bed with a bear next to me,” Holt said.



The footage, which Holt posted on social media, shows how the bear carefully climbs onto the fence near the porch and, standing on its two hind legs, sniffs everything around. Then he goes down to the porch and looks out the window.

The bear, which has visited the house before, can be seen sniffing the back door and repeatedly sticking its snout - and giant paws - through the crack of the doggy door.



After knocking on the door several times, the defeated bear came down from the porch and slowly disappeared into the darkness, as shown in the video. Holt said her two large dogs did absolutely nothing when the bear tried to rush inside.

“Our dogs didn’t even bark, although the bear made a lot of noise with the door,” she wrote in a post on social media. “We were just yelling at him and making noise, but it didn’t seem to bother him too much.”
