15 familiar objects and objects photographed with a microscope (16 photos)
An electron microscope provides magnification of up to several million times, which is much greater than that of conventional optical microscopes. Thanks to this magnification, it is possible to examine the structure of cells, the smallest details of viruses, bacteria, and even individual molecules. It uses electron beams instead of light, which allows for much higher resolution and allows for the examination of objects as small as nanometers.
