Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in Brazil

The vast flat area of ​​the park is covered with huge sand dunes, reaching up to 40 m in height.

During the rainy season, water accumulates between the dunes, forming many lagoons that create a uniquely beautiful landscape - turquoise, green and blue mirrors of lakes among snow-white velvety sands.

This fantastic landscape stretches over an area of ​​more than 1.5 thousand km2, it goes into the mainland for almost 270 km, and the length of the dunes along the coastline is about 44 km.
