1. Blagaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina



Blagaj is a small village where, among stunning waterfalls and crystal clear water, under a steep mountain, there are picturesque white houses and a monastery. Tekija in Blagaja appeared in 1520, when the Ottoman Empire had already been in these lands for about fifty years. This is a holy place for the dervishes and Sufis who founded it.

2. Huacachina, Peru





Huacachina is an oasis city in the middle of a vast desert. Getting there takes about five hours by road south of Peru's capital Lima. With a population of just 200 people, guests will feel completely cut off from the world upon arrival. In addition, here you can go sandboarding on the sandy Peruvian hills.

3. Marieta Island, “Hidden Beach”, Mexico

The Silfra Crack is located in Iceland, in Thingvellir National Park. This incredible location is a favorite destination for divers and adventure lovers. Swimming here, it is easy to lose the sense of depth because the clear and cold water is so clear that visibility reaches 300 meters.

5. Isola Bella, Italy



The Italian island of Isola Bella on Lake Maggiore is one of the most beautiful in the world. Almost the entirety of this small plot of land is occupied by the magnificent Borromeo Palace and a flowering multi-level garden, decorated with grottoes, terraces and fountains. A harmonious addition to all this splendor are the white peacocks that roam around this place. Count Vitaliano VI Borromeo valued this palace complex for his wife. Construction began in 1632 and dragged on for decades, but the result is amazing even today.

6. Popeye Village, Malta



Popeye Village is made up of wooden houses originally built for the filming of the musical of the same name in the 1980s. It is now a tourist destination with an amusement park, bay cruises and breathtaking views.

7. Red Earth Dongchuan, China



The Red Land of Dongchuan is a mountain valley southwest of Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province. Due to the remoteness of the infrastructure, this place is not on the tourist map of China, and it was discovered in the mid-1990s. The undulating, patchwork-like landscapes are reddish-brown due to their high mineral and fossil content.

8. Lencois Maranhenses, Brazil



The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park is called the "Maranhão Sheets". It is located off the Atlantic coast in northeastern Brazil. During the rainy season it becomes something simply unforgettable. Every year during this period, thousands of lagoons with turquoise water and various marine life form among the sand dunes. It remains a mystery how the fish and crabs get here after the drought, but the scale of a spectacle of this magnitude is nothing short of amazing. The best time to visit is from July to September, when the pools reach their maximum volume.

9. Grotto Saint-Marcel d'Ardeche, France



This place was discovered in 1836 by a French hunter. The Grotto of Saint-Marcel d'Ardèche is located in the Rhône-Alpes region of France. It's a big networkcaves with crystal clear water and colorful rocks.

10. Las Lajas Cathedral, Colombia



The Basilica of Las Lajas is located in a canyon on the border of Colombia and Ecuador. The incredible Gothic Revival architecture and interiors are truly breathtaking, not least because the building itself rises 45 meters above the river, surrounded by cliffs and waterfalls.

11. Marble Caves, Chile



The Marble Caves are located on a peninsula near Lake General Carrera in Chile. This impressive network of caves has been patiently and carefully refined by water over thousands of years, creating whirlpools of incredible beauty on the walls.

12. Flores Island, Portugal



Flores Island is listed by UNESCO because it is home to a national park with unique flora and fauna. It is located at the westernmost point of the Azores, off the coast of Portugal. In Portuguese, its name means “Cape of Flowers”, because almost its entire territory is dotted with plants of various colors and types. In addition, there are hot springs and natural lagoons, rice fields, lakes, as well as world-famous volcanoes.
