The woman was so outraged by the behavior of the Louis Vuitton sales assistants that she returned to them two months later, planning an elegant revenge.





Social networks in mainland China are buzzing with the revenge of a wealthy customer on a sales assistant at a Louis Vuitton boutique in Chongqing, southwest China. A girl with the nickname xiaomayouren on the social network Xiaohongshu shared her "outrageous" experience and the revenge plan she carried out.

Describing it as "the most irritating incident of the year," a woman who felt neglected by Louis Vuitton (LV) store staff returned to the store two months later with 600,000 yuan (US$84,000) in cash to exact revenge.



The woman said she walked into the LV store holding a Hermes bag to buy clothes, and the staff treated her with disdain.

They ignored her request for drinking water and simply pointed to old seasonal clothes, while she was hoping to see new arrivals.

They even rolled their eyes and looked impatient when she asked them to show her some dresses.

The customer said that after leaving the store, she called the luxury brand's "headquarters" but was ignored.





After two months of being upset, the woman took a large bag containing 600,000 yuan and went to the same store. She was accompanied by her personal assistant and a friend.

They tried on the clothes before telling the salesperson they would buy them. The woman then handed the vendors a large bag of banknotes to pay.

After the vendors counted the money for two hours, the woman told them, "We don't want to buy now. We're leaving."

"After they finished counting, I just took my money and left," she wrote on Xiaohongshu.

The woman's story has gone viral online, drawing rave reviews from netizens.

"This is a delightful ending. I always wondered why these vendors were so arrogant," said one online reviewer.

And another noted, "They sell luxury goods, but that doesn't mean they are luxury goods."
