British tech magnate Mike Lynch, dubbed the "British Bill Gates" by the media, has gone missing in a superyacht wreck off the coast of Sicily, Bloomberg reports.
The 56-meter yacht Bayesian hit a tornado and sank near Palermo on August 19.

As a result of the shipwreck, one person died, six are listed as missing, and 15 more people, including the businessman's wife Angela Bacares, were rescued. In total, there were 12 guests and 10 crew members on board the yacht.
Lynch went on a cruise with his wife to celebrate his victory in court, Bloomberg writes, citing an informed source.
In June, a U.S. jury cleared Lynch of fraud charges related to the 2011 sale of Autonomy to Hewlett-Packard for $11 billion — HP had accused Lynch of inflating the value of the business.
Lynch has advised two British prime ministers and is an OBE. The businessman founded the software company Autonomy in 1996, for which the media nicknamed him "the British Bill Gates." After selling Autonomy, he created the venture capital company Invoke Capital.
The search operation continues, divers are looking for victims on board the yacht itself, which sank at a depth of 50 meters.
Because there can only be one Bill Gates...
