Boat International magazine has prepared an updated list of the world's largest superyachts, and it will include 10 new items - for example, the Black Pearl yacht ("Black Pearl") with sails that integrate flexible solar panels, or Sailing Boat A ("Sailing Yacht" A"). By the way, both mega-boats belong to Russian oligarchs. But among the newcomers there are other interesting specimens.

1. Black Pearl

The yacht "Black Pearl" belongs to Russian Oleg Burlakov. This 12-seater, six-cabin vessel was built by the Dutch shipyard Oceanco. The project is innovative: the 106-meter yacht runs on solar and wind energy. Flexible liquid crystal solar panels are built into the fabric of the 15 square sails, and when the boat moves, energy is generated by the propellers rotating in the water. That is, the yacht provides itself with energy and can sail without using fuel.

2.Barbara

Another new product from the Oceanco shipyard is the yacht "Barbara" 88.5 meters long. Designed for leisure travel: two floors of glass doors facing each other; a deck that turns into an open-air cinema, and a main hall that doubles as a disco room.

3. Al Lusail

A 123-meter yacht, on board which has a swimming pool, a cinema, a helipad and a beauty salon. The design of the yachts was developed by H2 Yacht Design, and the yacht was built by the German shipyard Lurssen. The side decks are connected in the center of the yacht by a balcony for ease of movement around the ship.

4. Sailing Yacht A

Sailing yacht "A" (a boat with three masts) belongs to Russian Andrey Melnichenko. The 143-meter vessel was built by the German shipyard Nobiskrug. This is the largest sailing ship in the world. The rigging and pitches were made by the Dutch, the masts were built by a British company, and the sails were ordered from the Americans. The yacht has 8 decks (8 floors), connected by elevators and spiral staircases, a helipad, and three 90-meter masts. The cost of the sailboat is approximately 400 million euros.

5. U116

The 116-meter yacht U116 was built by the Norwegian shipyard Kleven for New Zealand billionaire Graham Hart. This is a comfortable ship with a cinema hall on the lower deck, a games room with billiards, pinball and other games on the upper deck; There is also a swimming pool and spa. The yacht will be launched at the very beginning of next year and, it seems, guests of U116 will have no time to be bored.

6. Aviva

Aviva is owned by billionaire Joe Lewis, owner of Tottenham Hotspur football club. Its length is 98 meters. Joe Lewis was born in London, he is a businessman and owner of a famous football club. He is now 80 years old, worth £4 billion and lives in the Bahamas.

7.Jubilee

Jubilee is currently the largest superyacht on the market. The ship has a helicopter deck and a large swimming pool with a built-in aquarium.

The most distinctive feature of this yacht is her three false decks, which, according to designer Igor Lobanov, "give the illusion that she is longer and have a positive effect on the aesthetic perception of proportionality."

8.Faith

The 100-metre superyacht Faith is a glamorous retreat, with a waterfall at the foot of the glass-floored pool and a specially equipped pizza oven on the sunbathing and lounging deck. The special touches are endless.

9. Amadea

The construction of this 104-meter yacht was shrouded in mystery, and only a few details are still known. For example, the vessel has a four-ton decorative bowsprit in the shape of an albatross. According to designer Espen Oino, the owner wished to "immortalize the albatross to protect Amadea from a curse" - an image taken from English poet Samuel Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Albatross is a good omen that helps the ship get out of storm and fog.

10. Areti

"Areti" is 85 meters long, the yacht has its own helipad, as well as everything that a professional athlete might need on vacation. The yacht belongs to a former Olympian and cyclist, and is “tailored” to the needs of professional athletes. There is an invigorating spa, a large steam room and sauna, a 12-person swimming pool with a spa area and a large plunge pool with water chilled to 8 degrees Celsius.

A complete updated list of all superyachts will appear in the January issue of Boat International magazine.
