Frightening moment: a passenger plane bounces uncontrollably while landing (5 photos + 2 videos)

The Spanish Airlines Canaryfly plane was transporting passengers from Gran Canaria to Lanzarote when it encountered problems during landing.





Footage captured by a camera on the runway at Cesar Manrique Airport shows the aircraft landing at 12:52 p.m. local time. At first glance, it seems that the landing will take place normally.



As soon as the landing gear touched the asphalt, the plane began to bounce and roll uncontrollably. After the third attempt, the commander decided to return to the sky.





According to local newspaper Canarian Weekly, the pilot circled the island and directed the plane to make a second approach.

On the second attempt, the aircraft landed successfully.





A Boeing 737-800 flying from Frankfurt am Main to Salzburg almost crashed during landing due to a strong gust of wind.

This incident was the latest in a series of emergency landings around the world. From Skiathos in Greece to Lukla in Nepal, there are runways across the globe that will make even the most seasoned pilot nervous.
