Naran Automotive, founded by Zimbabwean businessman Amir Naran, is preparing for the live debut of its first car. The unnamed 2+2 coupe will be shown to the public at the Salon Prive international exhibition in London.
The appearance of the two-door was worked on by the well-known Yovin Wong, the author of the design of the Apollo Intensa Emozione and De Tomaso P72. Aggressive notes in the exterior, as well as sporty elements such as a massive spoiler, a developed splitter and a ventilated hood are not without reason. The model is claimed to be the fastest 4-seater car with an internal combustion engine.
The Naran hypercar is powered by a 5-liter V8, the output of which exceeds 1000 horsepower. Torque, and there is also a lot of it (1035 Nm), is transmitted to all wheels, while the front axle can be disconnected if desired. The declared acceleration time to 100 km/h is 2.5 seconds, and the car should reach 322 km/h in 16.5 seconds.
It should be noted that Naran Automotive does not particularly talk about the suppliers of technical solutions for the hypercar, but, according to Autocar, the car is based on the units of the BMW 8-series. In particular, the power plant is a 4.4-liter S63 significantly modified by Racing Dynamics. The influence of BMW can probably be seen in the interior as well. The latter is promised to be finished in the most expensive and luxurious materials, including gold.
The company plans to release 39 copies of the hypercar at a price of about $2.2 million. Pre-orders are already being accepted. The application is requested to be supported by a "modest" deposit of $385 thousand.
