A woman lives in a "folding house" worth $200 to avoid paying rent (3 photos + 1 video)
The property includes a shared summer kitchen, a washing machine, an outdoor shower attached to a tree, and a composting toilet.
American Gina Min from California (USA) does not pay a penny for rent after moving into a "folding house" measuring 2 x 2.5 m. The woman bought the greenhouse for only $200 at a furniture store and assembled it in less than 10 hours.
The space in the room is divided into three parts. On the left is a small desk made of planks with storage underneath. In the middle of the room is a yoga mat, and on the right is a mattress, pillow, and hooks where the owner hangs towels and jackets.
To light the room at night, Gina uses a small flashlight attached to the curtain. But all other electrical devices work thanks to an extension cord that is connected to a large house on the property where her improvised home is located.
There is also a shared summer kitchen, a washing machine, an outdoor shower attached to a tree, and a composting toilet nearby.
"There is everything you need here. My life is rich and vibrant. I am very glad that my life path brought me here," says Gina Min in a video posted on her YouTube channel.
The woman also saves money on food by growing her own fruits and vegetables. She recently turned down an offer to rent a two-room apartment because she is comfortable in such conditions. However, she admits that she will still have to look for another place to live in the winter.
