People have started to be frozen in liquid nitrogen in Europe (4 photos + 2 videos)
A German company has figured out how to charge decent money to those who dream of one day rising from the dead.
The first European startup in the field of cryopreservation promises its users that in the future science will advance to such an extent that it will learn to resurrect people. But we still have to live to see this bright moment, and it is not clear when it will happen. So, in order for the mortal body to be preserved, they propose freezing it in liquid nitrogen.
The company explained that the bodies of clients are usually cooled to -198°C to preserve them in the state they were in at the time of death. A body in such a frozen state does not spoil and can be stored for a very long time.
For just £170,000, Tomorrow Bio promises not only to cool a client's corpse to -198°C, but also to carefully store it until medicine develops to the level of "god" and learns to resurrect the dead. Don't have that kind of money? No problem, for £63,000 you can freeze only the brain.
The company was opened in 2020, and has already successfully frozen six people and five animals in the cryopreservation lab. Another 650 people are waiting their turn to turn into ice cubes.
The scheme is simple: as soon as the client dies and the doctors conclude that he is really done, the body is promptly delivered to the lab, where, in fact, it is frozen. If you are lucky, they will defrost it someday and, perhaps, revive it. Well, or not.
