The McLaren vehicle line has been expanded with electric scooters called Pure x McLaren. It is based on one of the scooter models the company already has, but is distinguished by original branding and received racer Lando Norris as an ambassador. The scooters can only accelerate to 25 km/h, but cost from $1,150.
Pure x McLaren is available in three designs, which differ in the main color and decorative shades. The basic ones are made in a special version of orange and matte black. In addition, there is a Senna Edition, which will have a limited edition - its color scheme refers to the design of Ayrton Senna's helmet. This scooter is valued at £1,200.
There are no technical differences. The entire line is equipped with a rear engine with a peak power of 710 W and a battery with a 50-kilometer power reserve, lighting with turn indicators and footrests that allow you to place your legs parallel while riding.
The foldable Pure x McLaren weighs 16 kilograms and can carry a pilot weighing up to 120 kilograms. It is noteworthy that Pure Electric is run by Adam Norris, the father of athlete Lando Norris.
Previously, McLaren's assortment included bicycles developed by the company itself with the participation of the same designers who created the Artura supercar. They are equipped with a more powerful 825 W motor and cost from 8 to 12 thousand dollars.
