Born in the last century: a man showed his oldest cat in the world (4 photos)

69-year-old Leslie Greenhoff from the UK believes that his cat Millie is the oldest in the world. According to the owner, she was born in 1995.
Millie was previously owned by Lesley's late wife Paulie, 55, who bought her when she was three months old. Unfortunately, in April 2020, the woman died as a result of complications related to COVID-19 infection, so Greenhough had to take custody of the animal.
The pet has never visited a veterinarian and is on a mixed diet, mainly consisting of chicken and cat food. Leslie claims that a cat's long life is due to plenty of treats in its diet, canned tuna and shrimp, and cuddles on the couch.
"Millie is a lively girl. She can still jump, but a little slower than before. People can't believe she's 29! She doesn't have any major health problems other than some hearing loss. And Millie isn't bothered by other cats." it also helped her live a long and peaceful life,” says Greenhough, a retired storekeeper from Stockhorse, Cheshire, UK.
The man wants to submit Millie's candidacy to the Guinness Book of Records and is now trying to find a way to contact representatives of this organization to officially confirm the achievement.
"I want to go to set the record in memory of my late wife, but I'm afraid Millie won't survive the trip. Paula loved her and everyone should know that she is a wonderful cat," the owner added.
