Ravi Kumar, a 25-year-old resident of Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India, is only 24 inches tall and weighs 7 kg. Kumar stopped growing at age five due to a rare disease. 
At just 24 inches tall and weighing 15.4 pounds (7 kg), Ravi Kumar is considered one of the smallest adults in India.
Kumar is the only member of his family with a height deficiency and his mother still cares for him like a baby. And he carries it in his arms.
When the boy stopped growing at the age of five, his mother took him to the doctor. There she was informed that the baby was suffering from a thyroid disease, which was slowing down his growth.
“We took him to many doctors and they told us he was suffering from thyroid disease,” she says. “Treatment is possible, but we don’t have enough money to afford it.”
The shortest man in history was Chandra Bahadur Dangi from Nepal, whose height was only 54.6 cm.
Dwarfism is a medical condition characterized by significantly less than average height. It is typically caused by genetic factors, hormonal imbalances, or medical conditions that affect bone growth.
Although people with dwarfism face physical challenges, they are able to lead fulfilling lives with the same abilities and aspirations as people of average height.
