Digging through piles of junk in search of treasure is a surprisingly addictive thing. Of course, lovers of thrift stores and flea markets are not always lucky, but truly successful finds are worth the time and effort. And, of course, it would be a shame not to show off these trophies online!

"Every couple of months for the last 16 years, I've searched Ebay for 'White Gold Garnet or Ruby Ring' and all the wording options. My grandmother gave me the original ring when I was 13. It was too big, so my dad took it away jeweler to have it cleaned and re-skinned. While the ring was at the jeweler, my dad passed away suddenly from a brain aneurysm. He was 39 years old. I received the ring back the day of his funeral. I loved that ring. It meant so much to me. Somehow I lost it when I was 17. I'm 40 now. I've literally been looking for this ring for over half my life! It's already even my size, so obviously it got shrunk at some point. Which makes me wonder "Isn't this my ring?"
