Russia forces tourists from India to fight against Ukraine, - Indian media
The Russians are deceiving foreigners into the war against Ukraine by slipping them documents in Russian to sign.
Indian journalist Uma Sudhir told about this on social network X, Censor.NET reports.
She published a video story of a 23-year-old man from the Indian province of Punjab. According to Sudhir, he is asking for help for him and 7 of his comrades to return to India.
The journalist said that Indians came to Russia as tourists to celebrate 2024 there. The travel agent suggested they go to Belarus. The vacationers agreed, but here they started having problems.
“We didn’t know that we needed a visa. When we arrived in Belarus, the agent asked us for more money and then disappeared,” the Indians said, saying that they were then handed over to Russian security forces, who gave them some things to sign documents in Russian. The Indians did not understand the meaning of what was written, but were forced to sign the papers.
When they finally realized that they had joined the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces and tried to refuse it, they were explained that the alternative would be imprisonment for 10 years.
“Now we are forced to fight in the war against Ukraine,” the deceived tourists complained, noting that their military training lasted only 15 days.
Earlier, the media reported that the Russians recruited about 15 thousand Nepalese citizens for the war against Ukraine. Therefore, Nepal even stopped issuing work permits in Russia. Also, according to the Center for National Resistance, they bring mercenaries from Cuba and Nigeria to the occupied Ukrainian territories.
