The British company Tom Hartley Jr has put up for sale a 1970 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman. The car is called one of the most remarkable examples of this already rare model: the fact is that at different times it was owned by several famous musicians, and the sedan was built by order of John Lennon from The Beatles. The seller will disclose the price of a limousine in excellent condition only upon request of an interested buyer.





Mercedes-Benz produced 304 examples of the 600 Pullman with a four-door body, and only 39 of them were right-hand drive. The example put up for sale was assembled in 1970, taking into account a number of special requests from the customer, which included, for example, a developed set of musical equipment. The Pullman interior is trimmed with black leather, velor and polished wood, under the hood is a 6.3-liter engine with 250 horsepower.

John Lennon got rid of the car in 1974 after The Beatles broke up and moved to the United States. The second owner of the limousine was another member of the famous Liverpool Four, George Harrison, but he used the sedan for just over a year. Harrison sold Pullman to singer Mary Wilson, who along with Diana Ross is known as the founder of The Supremes.

After some time, the car ended up in the possession of Mercedes-Benz, which provided it with a complete restoration and used it in promotional materials, but in 2007 handed it over to a private collector. Apparently, he put the rarity up for sale.
