A parrot that had been missing for a couple of months returned to its owner (4 photos + 1 video)
A cockatiel named Ernie flew away from his owners in Britain's Great Lever last November. The talking parrot survived in the wild until he was picked up by one of the residents of a neighboring city.
Over Christmas and New Year, he was cared for by one of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) staff, who filmed the parrot singing.
In the footage, Ernie sings his favorite song.

Owner Alison Roberts saw the post on social media and was soon reunited with her pet.
According to her, she immediately recognized her pet, who flew away during a thunderstorm.
Upon returning home, Ernie immediately showered Lottie's dog with love, as they formed a long and strong friendship.
Roberts said: "His return is a miracle, I thought something had happened to him and we wouldn't see him again. Now he's back with the love of his life, Lottie. "I let him out of the cage and he sat on her back. and galloped off. It was just like old times, because we were used to him just following her everywhere."
“The evening we lost him, Lottie was getting ready to go out into the yard, and I didn’t notice that Ernie was sitting on her back, because the dog was under the table. I called him day and night in the hope that he would fly back.” .
The owner added: “I bought a new cage for him because I gave away the old one - I couldn’t look at it, my heart was breaking with longing for Ernie.”
"He's so loving and attentive. He comes out of his cage in the evenings and we spend time together, talking, treating him like part of the family. This is our first parrot and we are very lucky because Ernie has such a wonderful character. I can't help but Thank you to the person who found him and the RSPCA for bringing him home."
