Russians have a sweet life
The slurry demolished the fence and washed away two KamAZ trucks, then it got into the sewer system and sweet water started flowing from the local taps.
An emergency happened at a sugar factory in Sergach - a tank with 4,000 tons of molasses ruptured and the city was flooded with sweet mash. First, the territory of the enterprise suffered - it turned into a sweet swamp, then, under the pressure of the slurry, the fence collapsed and the molasses washed away the trucks standing nearby.
Local residents also said that the liquid got into the local sewer. Soon sweetish water began to flow in people’s houses.
Radaev also stated that the owner of the plant should clean up all this disgrace:
These are issues of business and business owner. This does not threaten people's lives and health. I can’t say how quickly they will remove it.
The Ministry of Agriculture said that molasses is used as an additive in cattle feed and does not pose a danger to humans. This was already clear. But the residents of Sergach are complaining about something else - the liquid poured into the basements of private houses and ruined all their supplies, pickles and other preparations.
It has not yet been announced whether the owner of the plant will compensate for the spoiled tomatoes and cucumbers.
