In a Rostov bar, a prosecutor beat up a Russian Guard officer
The state prosecutor faces 8 years in prison.
The incident occurred on Friday evening, December 22, in one of the bars in Rostov-on-Don. As State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein writes, the prosecutor of the Kagalnitsky district, Sagit Akhmetov, who had too much alcoholic drinks, began pestering guests of the establishment, including a lieutenant colonel of the Russian Guard, whose name is not mentioned. During a verbal altercation, the district prosecutor punched the National Guard member in the face and knocked him out.
The victim regained consciousness in the hospital. He was diagnosed with a temporal bone fracture and a brain contusion. Khinshtein claims that the Russian Guard officer was sober at the time of the fight - this is what the examination showed.
It is known that yesterday Akhmetov was fired from the prosecutor’s office and a criminal case was opened against him under Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm). Today the police were supposed to detain the pugnacious state prosecutor. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
