In a Moscow metro carriage, a man stabbed an acquaintance with a knife during a conflict. The victim was hospitalized.
A verbal quarrel, which escalated into a fight, occurred due to sudden personal hostility between three acquaintances. A 41-year-old man with a previous conviction took a knife from his bag and hit his opponent with it. The 30-year-old victim was hospitalized; his health was seriously injured.
The defendant was identified and detained, he was brought to criminal liability under paragraph “h” of Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm) under control at the Moscow Metro Prosecutor's Office.
