A gang of rich pensioners ran away from the restaurant without paying for dinner (5 photos + 1 video)
The group ordered the most expensive meals from a Med-Mex restaurant in Hornsey, Yorkshire, and ran away. Four elderly Britons had a nice dinner, but the bill for £96.70 remained unpaid.
The incident occurred on Saturday, November 11
CCTV footage clearly shows the group quickly buttoning up their jackets, looking around for personnel and leaving.

The distressed owner of the establishment believes that the company carefully thought out its insidious plan to “dine and hide.” The pensioners chose the table closest to the door and diverted the waiters' attention by placing another drink order before leaving.
“I don’t think they will come back and pay,” says Racha. “They were clearly not locals, I’ve never seen them before. They looked smart, they looked about 65 or 70 years old.”
The CCTV footage was posted on social media, but no one ever showed up.
According to Racha, 37, guests ordered the most expensive dishes on the menu, including beef stroganoff and a large pie.
When the waitress asked if they were happy with their dinner, one retiree complained that the beef was undercooked, but ate the whole portion anyway.
The staff even offered the customer a free drink to compensate for the possible problem.
The group sat and enjoyed the live music for about an hour, then ordered another round of drinks before running off.
"I was very upset because one of the customers also complained about our meat. We won an award for the best steak in Hornsea. Plus, everyone is having a hard time now as prices are rising. They were unfair," the restaurant owner added.
Racha has not yet contacted the police, but posted the CCTV footage on social networks in the hope that someone will recognize the “heroes”.
